Bawdy, 1,300-Man ‘Bachelor Party’ Takes Over Cruise Ship

1822

Last month, more than 1,000 men ran amok on a cruise ship after bringing burlesque dancers aboard for a series of parties on pool decks, Newsweek reported.

What happened?

The passengers of the “Voyager of the Seas” which was cruising in Sydney, Australia, faced an unwarranted situation in their family-oriented cruise. 1,300 workers from an Indian tobacco company who came aboard for a conference — blocked off pool decks, bars, and the main buffet area.

Raunchy Displays

Some of the scantily clad dancers reportedly wore Playboy Bunny suits as they gyrated to the music. The raunchy displays caused families to go inside, but some passengers seemed more interested in the shows than that in the cruise-sanctioned activities.

Cruise Activity Cancelled

Cruise activities such as Bingo — which normally is a favorite on cruises — was canceled due to a lack of interest.
