Yesterday, Mfame reported on EgyptAir Flight from Paris to Cairo Disappears with 66 Onboard.
As search for the missing plane intensifies over the Mediterranean Sea, at least eight merchant ships reportedly have also joined the unified effort to find the aircraft that disappeared mysteriously off the radar in the early hours of Thursday.
Marine Traffic Services, which provides real-time information to the public about ship movements and ports mainly across the coastlines of many countries around the world, has confirmed the merchant ships’ participation and their numbers in the search operation.
Greek authorities say captain of a merchant ship reported “flame in the sky” about 130 nautical miles south of island of Karpathos. Egyptian and Greek military boats and planes are hunting for the missing plane.
