Samsung Heavy Lands $189 Million LNG Carrier Deal

On 31 December 2018, Samsung Heavy Industries clinched a $189 million deal to build a Liquefied Natural Gas carrier.

The company has clinched the deal worth $189 million to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier. The contract has been signed with a European shipper, has specified Samsung Heavy to deliver the vessel by March 2021.

Conclusion

Currently, Samsung Heavy has clinched deals valued at a combined $6.3 billion in 2018 by building 49 ships, including 18 LNG carriers and 13 container vessels.
