[Watch] Cargo Ships Collide on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal

2008

Two ships collided on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal last night. The captain of a tanker probably missed a moored ship at the canal-east east of Breukelen and hit the ship. That happened with so much force that the ship was loosening and severely damaged. In addition, the clap was heard in the wide circumference.

Another passing skipper shot immediately and pushed the boat back to the quayside. The damage has been made and the emergency services have been carried out. There was no one injured.
