The fourth 180000 DWT bulk carrier, CS HANG ZHOU, built by Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry for CSSC Brokerage Services, was successfully delivered, marking the successful completion of the four 180000 DWT bulk carriers, says an article published in Xinde Marine News.
Design of the Vessel
The ship is 292.0m in total length, 45.0m in width, and 24.80m in depth. It is designed in accordance with CSR specifications and installed with mixed scrubbers and USCG type-approved ballast water treatment system. The EEDI index of the ship reaches PhaseⅡ. It is a “green, safe, energy-saving and efficient” ship.
Better environmental performance
The 180000 DWT bulk carriers are the fifth generation products. According to the specifications of the Panama Canal, the mooring arrangement has been optimized and the Panamanian pilot platform has been set up.
Compared with the previous generation products, the navigation area is wider and the environmental protection performance is better.
“CS HANG ZHOU” is the last of four 180000 DWT bulk carriers ordered by CSSC Brokerage Services in BSIC during the market downturn.
