Leading Classification Society ClassNK has endeavored to provide a comprehensive menu of services to support customers involved in the shipping business pursue zero-emission.

Zero-Emission Transition Center

Effective 1 Oct. 2021, ClassNK restructures its organization and establishes “Zero-Emission Transition Center” and “Marine GHG Certification Department” to strengthen its support to customers working on GHG reduction.

Zero-Emission Transition Center develops overall business strategies related to GHG, and handles planning, implementation, and control of each business.

Marine GHG Certification Department integrates responses to certification needs related to GHG reduction, including IMO short-term measures.
