Biofuel prices in Singapore and Rotterdam have seen upward movements, influenced by changes in underlying market prices and specific regional factors. In Singapore, biofuel prices for B24-VLSFO and B24-LSMGO rose, with the underlying LSMGO and China UCOME FOB prices both contributing to this increase. Rotterdam saw smaller increases in its B30-VLSFO and B30-LSMGO HBE biofuel prices due to rising POMEME prices.
Singapore Biofuel Premiums
The premium for Singapore’s B24-VLSFO UCOME over pure VLSFO has widened to $114/mt, while the B24-LSMGO UCOME premium over LSMGO has narrowed slightly to $95/mt. The delay in restarting Neste’s Singapore biorefinery has impacted demand from China, affecting local prices as well.
Rotterdam Biofuel Premium Adjustments
Rotterdam’s B30-VLSFO and B30-LSMGO HBE biofuels have experienced a price increase, supported by higher POMEME prices. Biofuel premiums over conventional fuels in Rotterdam are currently at $195/mt for B30-VLSFO HBE and $157/mt for B30-LSMGO HBE, with rebates contributing to these levels.
