Marine fuel oil supplier – Aegean says that its new “Double-hull” bunker barge is likely to double the current operational capacity at Port of Vancouver.
The Double hull bunker barge, named PT40 has a total capacity of 3600 MT and the pumps can reach a rate of up to 450 MT/hour – according to Bunker world.
The PT 40 will have a product capacity of
- 2500 MT for IFO,
- 1100 MT for MGO.
All grades of fuel will be made available, including the 0.1% sulphur MGO, to meet the ECA standard. Aegean awaits to demonstrate the capabilities of the new barge to its customers.
