On June 13, at about noon, a bulk carrier struck a pier in Santos Port, Brazil, while moving berths. The ship was allegedly carrying 71,000 tonnes of sugar and sustained no major damage, while a damage assessment is still underway to determine the ship’s seaworthiness. As of this morning, June 14, the bulk ship is still berthed. On June 10, she arrived in Santos from Vietnam through Singapore.
