COSCO SHIPPING Signs Chartering Contracts

COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers announced on June 10 that COSCOL (HK) Investment & Development, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, signed five, two, and five 70,000 DWT multi-purpose pulp carrier chartering contracts worth a total of 74.022 million US dollars with CMB Financial Leasing, SPDB Financial Leasing, and Bocomm Leasing, respectively as reported by Xinde Marine News.

Management of ships  

The company operates the vessels on an operating chartering for 15 years, with a time chartered freight of US$16,900/day/vessel.

The three leasing companies are responsible for the daily management of the ship, the supply of spare parts and materials, the ship repair, the provision of the crew, the purchase of insurance, etc., and collecting the chartered freight.
