On May 3, a cruise ship dropped anchor after encountering strong winds while it entered the bay.

What happened?

The cruise ship ‘Crown Princess’ was caught amid strong winds while it entered the Bay of Kotor, Montenegro.

Avoided collision

The vessel immediately dropped anchor to avoid an allision with a quay by engaging all its thrusters at full capacity and dropping the portside anchor.

Anchored at bay

The cruise ship is currently anchored at the bay until further orders.
