The Dragon class ships was delivered by Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering in China today,which was ordered by Evergas. Chartered by INEOS Europe the dragon class ships are used to transport ethane and they can carry a wide range of petrochemical gases and LPG. Evergas, owner and operator of seaborne petrochemical and liquid gas transport vessels,who ordered the 27,500 cbm Dragon class vessels,is a first in the series represents the largest ethane carriers in the world.

The vessel has a system of fully integrated systems with which maximum efficiency can be obtained. It has the Wartsila Solutions package containing –
- 2 Wartsila 50DF Dual fuel engines
- Wartsila propulsion equipment including gearbox
- 2 Wartsila 20DF auxiliary generating sets
- Wartsila LNG fuel system
- Wartsila Cargo handling system.
The vessel measuring 180 meters long and 26.6 meters wide with a draft of approximately 9 meters was ordered in 2013.
