The Chief Minister of Gibraltar, Fabian Picardo, during the parliamentary budget session, exposed the fraud and deception carried out by the GSD Chairman, Trevor Hammond and Leader of the Opposition, Daniel Feetham MP.
The Lloyd’s original unedited report produced was an evaluatory study concentrating solely on two very specific sites for single skin LNG storage tanks and had not addressed LNG bunkering or any proposals for an LNG-fuelled power station in its 200 page report.
The published report was edited down to 30 pages by the GSD, by picking and choosing evidence to manipulate facts and distort truth. Therefore, the said version of the LNG bunkering report coined by the GSD is discredited.
Further revelations brought out the fact that the £100,000 paid towards the Lloyd’s register was made by the Spark Group of Companies in Gibraltar and not by the GSD as claimed by them. In conclusion, the Chief Minister accused Mr. Feetham’s actions as a disgraceful and fraudulent step to deceive the safety and security of the people of the country.
