Hijacked vessel found in Cambodian waters : Malaysian Navy

On June 11th, the Orkim Harmony, carrying $5 million worth of Fuel was hijacked by the pirates. Malaysian Navy have identified the vessel almost after a week.  Royal Malaysian Navy Chief Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Jaafar informed that the vessel was found in the Cambodian waters. It was renamed and repainted.  Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) are tailing the vessel.

 The Chief said, “We have found the vessel and RMAF, MMEA and RAAF aircraft are tailing it from the air”.

ReCAAP Information Sharing Centre revealed that the piracy incidents has raised upto 20, 19% higher than the previous month.
