Product tanker AGISILAOS was attacked and boarded by pirates, reports Maritime Bulletin.

What happened?

In the evening Nov 29 Product tanker AGISILAOS was attacked and boarded by pirates, in the Gulf of Guinea south of Lome, Togo, while en route from Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo, to Lome. 

Crew casualties 

Pirates kidnapped 4 crew, including Filipino, Romanian and Russian nationalities, and fled.

Tanker reached Lome anchorage and was anchored at around 0330 UTC Nov 30. The rest of the crew were reported to be safe.
