Cedarglen – A well maintained ship

Despite her age, Cedarglen was an incredibly well-maintained ship with an impressive safety record,” said Louis Martel, president and CEO of The CSL Group.

He added that the efficient operation of the ship is only because of the great teamwork and dedication on board.

Ems Ore carrier

Originally built as the deep-sea ore carrier Ems Ore in 1959, the vessel was lengthened at Davie shipyard in 1976 and renamed Cartierdoc.

CSL purchased the ship in 2002, and used it for grain trades on the Great Lakes.
