Based on European Union’s removal of all remaining Philippine carriers from its safety blacklist, aviation authorities confirmed that Philippine airlines will no longer be banned from flying into Europe.

The decision is based on a positive review about the airlines by the five member EU safety assessment team following a series of inspections in April.

The aviation authority said that the EU decision will still benefit them.  European tourists will be encouraged to use low-cost carriers in the Philippines from now on.
