A masked man with a samurai sword attacked and killed a teacher and a pupil at a school in Sweden. It’s reported that the attacker, 21 years old and a resident in Trollhattan, was shot by the police and he later died of his injuries.
The attacker is said to have posed with pupils in chilling photo moments before the rampage.
Students posing with the man thought it was a joke just moments before he turned violent and began wildly attacking people.
It’s reported that the suspect’s Facebook and YouTube accounts suggest an interest in Hitler and Nazi Germany.
Sweden’s Prime Minister Stefan Lofven has arrived in the town, and said it was a “black day for Sweden“.
“I think of the victims and their families, students and staff, and the whole of the affected community. No words can describe what they are going through right now. We must ensure that they receive all the support they need,” he said.
