Cargo Ships are always of interest for people in the maritime industry, specially if it belongs to the World War Era. World War 2 Cargo Ships are of a different kind altogether.  Here’s a picture of one such ship reported by the Post Bulletin in their “Today in History” section of 8th February.

What is it?

A general view of the ship shows officers searching the cargo of a vessel at a British contraband control station, Feb. 8, 1940. On the left is the naval search boat alongside the cargo vessel.
