Vessel’s first call

The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) has handed over the traditional commemorative “Socarrat” to the container ship DJANET, which has made its first call at the Port of Valencia.

Gift exchange events

It should be noted that Valenciaport gives a “socarrat”  the Valencian terracotta tiles decorated with seafaring elements that the captain of the ship docking in Valencia, Sagunto or Gandia receives at the gift exchange events that take place when a ship arrives in port for the first time.

The PAV’s Head of Commercial and Customer Services, Cristina Rodríguez, and the PAV’s Head of Commercial and Business Development, Rafael Romero, presented the “socarrat” to the captain of the DJANET.
