2 Cargo Vessels Meet With Accident

Maritime Bulletin reports 2 cargo ship accidents in the EU waters and China.

EU waters

Dutch general cargo ship was disabled on August 25 while en route to France. The vessel was taken on tow late August 25, to be towed to destination.

China

A 15,500-ton general cargo ship ran aground in Pearl River Delta early in the morning August 26, straying off fairway.

She was refloated 12 hours later with tugs assistance. The vessel is under tow and is probably damaged.
