  • According to brokers, Premuda has expanded its fleet by acquiring an MR2 product tanker built in South Korea.

  • The online portal currently lists Premuda with a fleet of 17 ships, made up of four bulkers and 13 tankers.

South Korean Tanker

Pillarstone-controlled Premuda has expanded its fleet by acquiring an MR2 product tanker built in South Korea, according to brokers. 

Lower Market Value

The Marco Fiori-led company paid $34 million for the 2018-built Elandra Pine, as per Seasure Shipbroking and Intermodal. According to VesselsValue, the vessel seems to be owned by ICBC and part of the fleet at Vitol’s LSC, and the price is much lower than the $36.01m market value.

Premuda’s Account

Premuda has a fleet of 17 ships, four bulkers and thirteen tankers, according to the internet page. Another MR2, the Maersk Tokyo, was built in 2016 and will be delivered by Maersk Tankers after a $31 million transaction was completed in March.
