EU leaders have agreed to relocate 40,000 migrants who have arrived in Italy and Greece to various EU states.
EU leaders, after their talks in Brussels, have decided to relocate 40,000 migrants who have arrived in Italy and Greece to various EU states. Summit Chairman, Donald Tusk said this would be done over the next two years. The Debt crisis in Greece is an additional hard hit as the talks that continued over a week did not implore to a deal. Greece will get its bailout funds only after reaching an agreement on economic reforms between its creditors – the European Commission.
According to the recent stat the overall migrants into the European Continent in the year 2015 are 153,000 of which:
- 63,000 migrants reached Greece by sea
- 62,000 migrants reached Italy by sea
- 10,000 on Hungary/Serbia border
