Container ship broke off her moorings and drifted to the middle of the river, reports Maritime Bulletin.
What happened?
Container ship MAERSK SIHANOUKVILLE broke off her moorings at Chittagong port, Bangladesh, on May 6.
The ship was taken under control by port tug only after she drifted to the middle of the river.
Cause and damage reported
The ship was taken back to berth, without any trouble. It was reported that there were no damages or container loss.
Strong wind and current are believed to be the cause of an accident.
