SAL heavy lift gets grounded with wind turbine blades, reports Maritime Bulletin.

Heavy lift cargo carrier aground

Heavy lift cargo ship IMKE ran aground while approaching Ogdensburg, northernmost port in New York State, St. Lawrence Seaway, at around 1830 UTC August 8.

The ship arrived at Ogdensburg from Montreal with cargo of wind turbines.

The stern is probably damaged. She was still aground as of 2300 UTC August 9 according to last AIS, tug or tugs were assisting refloating. It seems like they have been pushing her towards berth.
