According to an article published in Maritime Bulletin, a luxury yacht caught fire off the northeast coast of Itlay.
What happened?
The luxury charter yacht LADY MM with 8 passengers and 9 crew onboard suffered a fire on August 25 off Sardinia northeast coast, Italy. It was enroute from Capri to Porto Cervo.
Passengers and crew rescued
All people left the yacht on a tender and were rescued. Yacht meanwhile, was engulfed in flames and dense smoke. No information on her condition and status, as of August 26. AIS went off when the fire spread to the bridge.
