General cargo lost both her anchors and got beached at Visakhapatnam, Bay of Bengal, reports Maritime Bulletin. 

What happened?

General cargo ship MV MAA lost both her anchors at night Oct 12. She was beached at Visakhapatnam, India, Bay of Bengal, when a storm bashed. 

The ship was deployed in Visakhapatnam – Mongla, Bangladesh for regular cargo service. The ship was almost running aground and people in large numbers gathered in that area.
