What happened?
General cargo ship MV MAA lost both her anchors at night Oct 12. She was beached at Visakhapatnam, India, Bay of Bengal, when a storm bashed.
The ship was deployed in Visakhapatnam – Mongla, Bangladesh for regular cargo service. The ship was almost running aground and people in large numbers gathered in that area.
