What happened?
A group of pirates were sent running for life after their attempt to attack a ship has been thwarted by armed security guards team.
Prompt action by the ship owner
The owner luckily hired armed guards team, probably Nigerian.
Master’s announcement during the attack
During the attack, Master announced via general alarm system about the attack.
He alerted the crew and ordered all crew to stay away from starboard side windows and portholes.
Security team firing
Besides security team firing at pirates from the bridge, one more team member on a deck below funnel was firing heavy caliber machine gun.
One pirate is hit
Pirates were firing back, later bullets hits were found.
Pirates ceased attack and fled, crew on the bridge said they saw one of pirates being hit.
