Wuhu Shipyard Co., Ltd. and Continental Bitumen signed a series of orders for Bitumen / Oil Product Tankers through “Cloud Signing”, says a press release published on their website.
What is in the contract?
Recently Wuhu Shipyard Co., Ltd. and Continental Bitumen signed a series of orders for 21,100 m³ / 21,500 DWT of Asphalt/ Oil Product Tankers through “Cloud Signing” (signing online).
Continental Bitumen is an integrated procurement, logistics and distribution company trading 1.5 m tons of bitumen per annum in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The two Narval tankers will serve Continental Bitumen network of terminals as well as their sister companies in Asia, Australia and North America.
About the vessels
The 21,100 m³ / 21,500 DWT Asphalt/ Oil Product Tankers signed this time are designed by FKAB. Vessels are of a length of 168.7 meters, a width of 28.2 meters and a depth of 14.5 meters.
- It is classified into BV classification society,
- Dual fuel power propulsion system and power battery pack, and
- it can realize uninterrupted power supply and meet the latest technical, operational and environmental requirements of the world.
