A suspected robber was body-slammed by his would-be victim in San Leandro, California, last week. The dramatic moment was captured on the surveillance footage which has now gone viral on social media, reports News18.
Robber slammed to ground
The 32-second video shows a man walking to the rear of his SUV as two robbers, one armed with a gun, approach him. The unalarmed man quickly punches the armed attacker. He then picks him up and throws him to the ground, sending his gun clattering across the ground.
The man then kneels on the attacker who begins to squeal, while his accomplice yells, “Let him go!” The two attackers then run and flee in a white Kia, leaving the gun in the middle of the street.
The video has gone viral on social media, with netizens comparing the victim-turned hero to Captain America and the Incredible Hulk.

Caught on multi-day crime spree
The attackers and their two other pals, all of them aged between 11 and 14, were on a multi-day crime spree. They had targeted a bank customer and two other drivers.
The cops were able to connect all the attempted robberies with the help of CCTV footage as the came car was used in all the incidents, Kron 4 News reported.
Days after the filmed carjacking incident, both the suspects and a third underage boy were caught by the police in nearby Oakland after they attempted to rob another driver. They were released to their guardians and are said to have attempted yet another carjacking with a fourth accomplice.
The boys were arrested again. The cases have been referred to the Alameda County Juvenile Justice Center for prosecution.
