Finnish ferry was forced out of service after water from a faulty sprinkler pipe damaged around 90 of the vessel’s cabins.
October 10, Finnish ferry M/S Mariella operated by Viking Line faced a sprinkler pipe leak on the Deck 6. The leak damaged around 90 of the vessel’s cabins. The ferry was out of service for repairs. It’s fire prevention system were repaired. Passengers whose tickets were cancelled on Sunday will be either reimbursed or given new tickets. Mariella is ready to resume its schedule.
