Fire erupted in superstructure of general cargo ship URA, berthed at La Coruna, Spain, in the afternoon June 29. The ship arrived from Bayonne France on June 27, with cargo of steel billets.
Firefighting was still continuing, as of 1220 UTC June 29, with tugs and SAR boat at URA side. City engines are also engaged.
Cause of accident
Fire reportedly, was caused by wielding works. One person with smoke inhaling was medically assisted.
