Royal Navy Chef Acquitted In Trial Accusing Him Of Filming Sex

The accused Royal Navy chef has been cleared of his charges of voyeurism for filming his sexual act with a colleague in a shower on a warship.

Earlier the  Scott Furber, 29, had been accused of surreptitiously filming sexual encounter on board HMS Diamond.

The trial heard that Mr Furber, who is based at HMS Excellent in Portsmouth, agreed to meet the woman for consensual sex in the showers of the Type 45 destroyer while it was alongside in Limassol, Cyprus, in June 2014.

Mr Furber told the court that he filmed the encounter with mutual consent of the woman officer.

The two-day trial at Portsmouth Naval Base cleared all three accused officers, whereas they can be pursued for breaking the navy’s “no touching” rule. .
