H-Energy Global, an Indian natural gas firm, has issued a tender for eight LNG cargoes per year beginning in spring 2022 as reported by Offshore Energy.
LNG tender
This new liquefied natural gas tender was reported by Reuters, citing two industry sources. According to the reports, the tender will close on December 17, 2021.
In April of this year, India received its first Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU). The FSRU Höegh Giant had just arrived at H-Jaigarh Energy’s terminal at the time. This is also Maharashtra’s first year-round LNG terminal.
The LNG terminal in question is located in Jaigarh Port in Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri district, on the country’s west coast.
H-Energy wanted to put the FSRU into service this year. The terminal, however, has been delayed multiple times.
