Further to club’s previous news item, INTERTANKO has updated the ‘Guide to New Zealand’s Biofouling and Ballast Water Requirements’ to offer guidance to members on New Zealand’s biofouling and ballast water requirements for commercial vessels.
The guide provides updated information from Biosecurity New Zealand and Maritime New Zealand, and is divided into two parts:
- Part A refers to the Craft Risk Management Standard (CRMS)
- Part B refers to New Zealand’s ballast water regulations.
