- Container ship GUAYAQUIL EXPRESS was diverted from San Antonio Chile, to Valparaiso, Chile, after on arrival from Callao Peru on Jan 12 as per schedule of Service Eurosal XL, one crew got positive antigen test, the rest 24 seamen showed negative results.
- The ship anchored at Valparaiso anchorage on Jan 12, all crew underwent PCR tests, awaiting result. Ship’s under “quarantine”, i.e. she’s out of schedule for a period yet unknown.
A recent news article published in the Maritime Bulletin by Mikhail Voytenko states that Mega container ship knocked out of schedule by one positive antigen test.
Antigen test
Antigen test is even less reliable than grossly (totally) unreliable PCR test. The one positive tested seaman understood to remain on board.
Little doubt all the crew or majority of the crew were jabbed, some of them probably, not once or twice, but even more.
Chilean medical tyranny is as disgusting as Australian one or NZ, or Austrian, or Spanish, or you name it.
Authorities meanwhile, hurried to assure public, that the situation is under control and the crew didn’t have any contacts – that is to say, that the goods on board will be delayed, and the prices for the goods running short in Chilean shops, will go up.
Omicron variant, if there is such variant, is officially recognized as less “deadly” or severe, than your regular seasonal flu. What a wonderful “new normal” we live in!
Details of the vessel
Container ship GUAYAQUIL EXPRESS, IMO 9777620, dwt 123587, capacity 10589 TEU, built 2016, flag Germany, operator probably Hapag-Lloyd, though as probably, it’s CMA CGM (ship’s on their Eurosal XL service schedule) – it’s almost impossible to guess, who’s operating this or that liner container ship, they’re all sleeping in one bed in their whorehouse, called “container shipping”.
