An Ultra Large Container Vessel broke off her moorings in the evening Feb 6 at Maasvlakte, Rotterdam, in strong wind, reports Maritime Bulletin.
Still holding on
The giant ship didn’t break loose totally, only her fore part, with stern lines still holding on. Tugs immediately responded, moving forward back to the berth. No damages, no injuries reported. The vessel is to leave Rotterdam today Feb 7, bound for Felixstowe.
