Rough sea condition and strong winds pushed two crew men into the cargo hold onboard a Hong Kong-flagged bulker, off southern Vietnam. One of them reported dead and the other sustained serious injuries from the fall.
The incident happened on Monday, onboard the bulker that was enroute from Iran to China, the ship was bythen travelling close to Vung Tau in southern Vietnam. One of the crew by name Yu Jiannan died soon after the fall, while the other by name Ding Guandong suffered serious injuries and was sent to Vung Tau for emergency care.
