MARINE INTERIORS and Seatrade Europe are making a comeback, bringing together the leading figures from the cruise, ferry, and river cruise industry in Hamburg this September. Exhibitors from around the world will present the complete spectrum of cruise and ferry interiors, as well as ports, destinations, ship agents, shipbuilding, and suppliers in the areas of F&B, IT, and hotels at Seatrade Europe, as reported by Hamburg.

Latest innovations

Hamburg, the leading hub of the European cruise and ferry industry, will host the MARINE INTERIORS Cruise & Ferry Global Expo. Industry representatives and decision-makers will convene to explore the latest innovations in ship design and technology. The expo will take place from 6 to 8 September 2023 in Hamburg’s exhibition halls.

MARINE INTERIORS is Europe’s first standalone trade fair for interior design, outfitting, and technology in the cruise and ferry industry. It connects suppliers with cruise lines, shipyards, architects, and designers. The fair takes place alongside Seatrade Europe, a bi-annual convention for cruise and river cruise companies like AIDA, Carnival Maritime, and TUI Cruises. The event offers networking and business development opportunities. With over 100 expert speakers from various fields, including cruise lines, shipyards, design studios, and classification societies, the fair and convention will discuss trends, challenges, and lessons learned in the passenger shipping segment. The theme for Seatrade Europe this year is “Scaling Sustainably,” focusing on fostering growth and setting a course towards an ecologically responsible and sustainable future for the cruise industry.

Trade fairs

MARINE INTERIORS Cruise & Ferry Global Expo and Seatrade Europe, supported by various organizations, are set to take place in Hamburg. The trade fairs will provide networking opportunities and comprehensive content sessions for the cruise and ferry industry. Following the events, Hamburg Cruise Days will further establish the city as the hub of the cruise world for five days. With the industry recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, cruise bookings are approaching pre-pandemic levels, leading to new ship orders and the development of innovative ship interiors. The events aim to bring together the cruise community to discuss important topics and shape the future of the European market.
