Japan’s new ship export orders increased in June from May, states a Steel Orbis news source.

According to the data released by the Japan (japan) Ship Exporters’ Association (JSEA),
Japanese new ship export orders in June this year moved up by 116.6 percent on
tonnage basis compared to the previous month, increasing to 21 ships, compared to 19
ships recorded in May, totaling 1,08 million gross tons, including 11 carriers, 5 tankers
and 5 general cargo ships.
In the first six months of this year, Japanese shipbuilders received new export orders for a
total of 127 ships with an aggregate of 5.12 million gross tons, down 31.4 percent year
on year.
Japan (japan) delivered 25 ships for export
On the other hand, in June, Japan (japan) delivered 25 ships for export, totaling 1,04
million gross tons, compared to 8 ships totaling 330,897 gross tons recorded in April.
Meanwhile, in the January-June period this year, Japan (japan) delivered 110 ships for
export, totaling 4.45 million gross tons, increasing by 7.7 percent year on year.
