Leading the Charge
With a history rooted in compressed natural gas solutions, Provaris swiftly transitioned to green hydrogen in 2021, armed with AIP approval for its proprietary hydrogen carriers. Now focusing on Australia and Norway, the company is driving the evolution of production and export supply projects, ushering in a new era of sustainable energy solutions.
Advancing Prototype
Provaris is taking a monumental step towards the European Union’s 2030 green hydrogen target. The company initiated a prototype tank testing program for its innovative H2Neo compressed gas hydrogen carrier and H2Leo floating storage solution. Collaborating with Prodtex and SINTEF, this endeavor aims to secure ABS and DNV certification for H2Neo, positioning Provaris as a significant contributor to green hydrogen shipping.
Spearheading Green Hydrogen
Partnering with Norwegian Hydrogen AS, Provaris is driving the 270 MW FjordH2 hydrogen project, a Nordic powerhouse for sustainable energy. Set to become one of the region’s largest green hydrogen production facilities, FjordH2 aligns with the REPowerEU Plan, ensuring energy security and diversity amidst geopolitical uncertainties.
Collaboration for Sustainable Shipping
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Provaris and Gen2 Energy are propelling a large-scale European hydrogen supply chain. By leveraging Provaris’ marine solutions and Gen2 Energy’s expertise in domestic supply and European markets, the partnership aims to establish a robust network, capitalizing on Åfjord’s renewable energy potential.
Green Hydrogen Ambitions
Provaris continues to shine on the global stage with its Tiwi H2 green hydrogen export project. With a meticulously designed solar farm and transmission system, the project is poised to generate a substantial 90,000 tonnes per annum of green hydrogen. Provaris’ dedication to advancing sustainable solutions underscores its role as a key player in Australia’s energy transition.
