The Aftermath of the Fremantle Highway Fire

In a recent unfortunate incident, the massive cargo ship known as the Fremantle Highway caught fire over a week ago, sparking concerns over the safety of its precious cargo. The ship, which was eventually towed to the Netherlands, carried a substantial load of vehicles from various luxury automobile manufacturers.

Out of the 3,783 vehicles that were on board the Fremantle Highway when the fire broke out, nearly 500 were electric vehicles (EVs). Both BMW and Mercedes-Benz, renowned names in the automotive industry, have confirmed their significant presence on the ship with several hundred EVs each.

While it remains unclear precisely how many Rolls-Royce models were on the ill-fated cargo ship, the luxury car manufacturer has stepped forward to address the situation. A spokesperson from Rolls-Royce reported to Bloomberg that they are currently in the process of reaching out to affected customers who may have had their vehicles aboard the ship.
