Recently, through the collaborative efforts of AGUNSA Bunkering and the Antofagasta agency teams, a successful refuelling operation was carried out MGO Bunker for a vessel in the Bay of Mejillones using the Capella barge.

“In the 13 years that we’ve operated the barge and served as physical suppliers, this marks the first instance of such an operation in this specific region, which lies over 600 nautical miles away from the port of Valparaíso,” states Ingrid Sias, Commercial Head of Bunkering.

This endeavour is not only a milestone but also an expansion of our service offerings, encompassing a new bunkering port in the northern part of the country. Our primary aim is to provide broader coverage and cater to the evolving needs of our valued customers.
