232

China has done a big thing in sea technology with the first test trip of its drilling ship, “Mengxiang” or “Dream”. This journey was done in the Pearl River Estuary waters of Guangdong Province. The ship showed excellent performance and followed all the needed rules.

Setting Records in Deep-Sea Exploration

China’s “Mengxiang” is the world’s deepest drilling ship. It can go as far down as 11,000 meters below the surface. This drilling ship is very big, measuring 179.8 meters (like a football field) long and 32.8 meters wide so it can work well everywhere in the world because its structure is strong enough to handle different areas of travel easily without any trouble or difficulties. The successful test highlights China’s ability to improve ship technology and its dedication to exploring the ocean depths.
