GTT has secured a new order from HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) during the first quarter of 2024, reports GTT.
Vessel Types: Two LNG Carriers (LNGC)
- Shipyard: Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries
- Ship-owner: Nakilat
- Tank Design: GTT will design the tanks for two LNGCs, each with a total capacity of 174,000 m3.
- Containment System: Incorporating GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system.
- Delivery Schedule: Expected in 2026 and 2027.
Very Large Ethane Carrier (VLEC)
- Shipyard: Hyundai Heavy Industries
- Ship-owner: Purus Maritime
- Tank Design: GTT will design the tanks for this VLEC, which will have a total capacity of 98,000 m3.
- Containment System: Incorporating GTT’s Mark III membrane containment system.
- Delivery Schedule: Expected in the 1st quarter of 2027.
