Chinese refiners produced 2.57 million mt of VLSFO in the first two months of this year, market intelligence provider JLC reported.

The country’s average daily VLSFO output increased by around 3% on the year to 42,850 mt in January-February.
Chinese refineries increased VLSFO production in January-February to fulfil export quotas, according to JLC. The quotas were allocated to five major Chinese refiners.
