CyberOwl’s Medulla Technology
Dry bulk shipping company Star Bulk is to upgrade its vessel cyber resilience, having begun a roll-out of new systems from CyberOwl.
Key Features
CyberOwl’s Medulla technology includes a compliance module that allows shipping operators to evaluate cyber risks and human error resulting in onboard vulnerabilities. By continuously verifying the cybersecurity controls of onboard systems, users can assess vulnerabilities, shut down those that are practically possible to eliminate or design workarounds to mitigate risks.
The system can also be used to simply and centralise internal and external cyber compliance reporting requirements.
