Hafnia and Símbolo have expanded their Foundational AI joint venture by incorporating four new shipping partners: Marfin Management, C Transport Maritime, Trans Sea Transport, and BW Epic Kosan. These companies are currently engaging in data ingestion and mapping with Complexio.
Commitment to Innovation
Starting this process in 2023, Hafnia CEO Mikael Skov highlights that involving additional partners is essential for transitioning the shipping industry into an AI-first world. “Ninety percent of global workforces spend 60 percent of their time on recurring tasks. In an AI-first world, we can significantly reduce this by automating routine tasks, like assembling a ship’s clearance package. This also provides our leadership teams with enhanced macro views of business operations, enabling them to identify areas for improvement,” says Skov.
Complexio’s Role and Capabilities
Complexio CEO Matthew Talbot explains how Foundational AI operates by thoroughly analyzing company data to understand business activities through its intricate web of human interactions. “We have already identified over 107 million relationships across Hafnia data ingested in the last 24 months. Mapping these relationship patterns is crucial for automating tasks and quickly identifying and escalating potential issues to humans,” he elaborates.
Rebranding and Future Prospects
Complexio, formerly known as Quintessential AI, continues to lead innovation in the industry with this expanded partnership, aiming to enhance efficiency and operational insights across the shipping sector.
