New Membership Announcement
The Stena Sonangol Suezmax Pool, a joint venture between Stena Bulk and the Angolan state-owned oil company, Sonangol, has announced the addition of HAMMONIA Reederei as a new member.
Addition of Aura M Vessel
As part of the agreement, HAMMONIA’s vessel Aura M, a 2020-built 156,000mt crude oil tanker, has joined the pool’s fleet. This addition enhances the pool, which now operates 20 high-quality, fuel-efficient Suezmax tankers.
Leadership Comments
Aderito Pereira, Co-Pool Manager of the Stena Sonangol Suezmax Pool, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are very happy to welcome HAMMONIA as pool members and look forward to working with them as partners as we keep developing Stena Sonangol together.”
Johan Jäwert, Co-Pool Manager and Head of Stena Bulk USA added: “We are pleased to welcome HAMMONIA Reederei as a new pool member. This new membership and the addition of Aura M further underscore the pool’s status as a viable Suezmax pool option, now with four Suezmax owners as members.”
