Egypt said Friday that debris from the missing EgyptAir flight had been recovered from the Mediterranean along with human remains. Flight MS804 was en route to Cairo from Paris when it vanished from radar early Thursday with 66 people on board.

Today reports say that Egyptian Military and Marine Forces had “discovered more debris,” adding that the wreckage found also included luggage and aircraft seats.
Another report says that body parts, luggage and airline debris were retrieved on Friday from the sea, around 290 km north of the Egyptian coastal city of Alexandria.
The European Space Agency said a satellite on Thursday spotted a possible 2 km-long oil slick, about 40km south-east of the last-known location of the plane.
Flight data has suggested that smoke alarms were set off on EgyptAir Flight 804, minutes before it crashed in the Mediterranean Sea early on Thursday.
The Aviation Herald website, which tracks incidents and news in the aviation industry, said it received information that smoke alarms went off in the toilets of the Airbus A320 before the crash.
It also reported smoke alerts in the proximity to the electronics and equipment bay of the aircraft.
However, the authenticity of the data has not been officially confirmed.
Russia said that the plane had likely been brought down by a bomb, as did the U.S. and other Western governments. There has been no definitive finding on the cause of the Metrojet crash as yet.
